youtube one looks legit, although i know a friend of mine did a video like this once with huge 10 pound rubber ones once. (They look larger than the regular 45s, and are used so you can drop them when deadlifting)

ORIGINAL: SupraTurbo Haha... I don't see how you think that was a half-rep, but whatever. In reply to IBendBarbells, my grip is about average. I don't use a real wide grip when I am benching... I try to keep it equal distance with the hands a little wider than shoulder width apart. On my bar, there are grip marks that I use as a guide. There is one in the middle of the bar that is maybe 6 inches long and then there is about maybe 8 inches on each side of that middle grip until it gets to the rest of the grip, which takes up the rest of the sides of the bar. You might be able to see what I am talking about if you look at the bar in the video closely. But I usually put my index fingers and thumb about 5 inches from where the outer grip marks start. I know that may be hard to picture.. but if you watch the video closely, you will be able to find out what I mean. They are probably about four inches apart from each shoulder blade. But yeah, I am not sure why the bar isn't noticeably flexing, but I am sure it is there.. you just can't tell very well. Another reason for that might be that the bar is only a couple months old.. so that might explain partially also. I am pretty bulky though for my size.. I am 5 foot 10 so you were pretty close. its only half a rep because the rest of us in your age group are jealous. your form was iffy but you still got it. great lift man your a beast, how long have you been working out?

Half rep or not.. It's more than I could do even on a negative! Nice job bro. Next time, have a spotter somewhere becuase I feel you are going to hit 500 soon. Freakishly strong is all I have to say.

At least you did leave the clamps off this time. But common Supra use your head and get a spotter.Just cause your strong doesn't mean you have to be stupid.

gooood this is an old post ..... but with the above i agree except im not gonna call you stupid , but just because you can handle that weight doesnt mean somthing couldnt happen like lie a bone breaking , a muscle snapping or somthing your blow your pec out your gonna be in a world of hurt not just with the aftermath but durring the lift when all that **** comes down on you

But you'd think he would have just put 18 becuase that is the required age to watch them... I don't know what I think about it.

True, but not completely amazing. At 16 that would be a world record. At 23, it's just dang impressive. Either way, I'm 20 and can't hit 300 yet :)
