Never knew I could gain weight...until I tried!

I am a 23 year old ectomorph. I am 5' 10" and been skinny my whole life. 14 days ago I was 146 lbs and I was not eating right. I've always done pushups and bodyweight excersises to attempt to stay in shape. I started weight training over 2 weeks ago and changed my diet drastically. I went from eating like a bird (maybe 1500 cals a day) to a whopping 4000 calories/200g protein a day. I guess I really shocked my metabolism with the weight training and diet because in 14 days I went from 146 lbs to 157lbs, still no fat. I kid you not! I weighed myself in the morning after a bowel movement and no food in my stomach just to see for sure what I weighed. 11 lbs in 2 weeks? Dam, I didn't think it could be done. I am so dedicated to this, I cant wait to see what another few months is going to bring. My goal weight is 170lbs and I got along way, but I promise I will get there. The optimum weight gainer truely works, I have it twice a day...3 times if I train that day plus my regular meals on top of that. Each serving has 1250 calories, 50g of protein, and over 200+ carbs. I bought 50 lbs of the stuff lol. Sometimes I don't have the money/time to eat whole food every 3 hours so it's great. My squats and benchpress improved dramatically as well from the previous week. So to the skinny guys, it could be done. I know its only been 2 weeks but this is great motivation to keep going. Worry more about your diet than your workout routine, I feel its more important.

If this is true then thats great mate. But you might want to try and re-plan to get some solid food in those calories. 1250 calories per serving? and if your doing that 2 - 3 times a day thats 2500/3750 calories a day, just in liquid. If your 4000 calorie intake is constant, i'd re-evaluate how many calories you get per day from the weight gainers. Keep up the good work though man.
