hey guys I'm 5'10" and 77kg (170 pounds). I did an assessment at a local gym and my body fat%, bmr etc (everything listed) were in the normal range. But the size of my midsection has been increasing noticably over the past few months. But its not flabby. It looks as if I'm pregnant or like my stomach is being pushed out. Does this happen to people? Will working out and maintaining a diet make me lean again? thx

your stomach is actually being pushed out? Thats a sign of malnutrition, is it like a pot belly or are you exaggerating, we are our own worst critic you know

sounds like a beer belly to me.. if you do drink alot of beer, have juice... if you must get drunk have a lower fatty drink even spirits? i cant see this making you strong and muscley but if you do cardio you should burn off that extra fat round your midsection.

Juice? How does that help? And... What should I do in order to lose the beer belly?

cardio its most likely fat in the stomach region, also work the abs a little more that should tighten and flatten the front some, pending the fat is removed as well, post a pic of what your talking about it would help us asses the situation

How is your diet? A large stomach comes from primarily eating unhealthy foods. If you still aren't satisfied add some cardio. Your not a bad size for someone 5'10.

how much sodium or salty food do you take? it could be because of that too. although, sodium causes water retention and you said you weren't flabby. increasing your cardio and eat more healthy food.
