Need a Kick
-
Tuesday, September 18, 2007 6:22 AM
I have an extremely bad shoulder injury.. I cannot workout ok except boring cardio, ie, bike. Hard to get motivated. I can workout my legs, but I really need to take advantage and lose a good amount of weight. I have put on 18 pounds since July, all muscle is shifting. What can I do for leg workouts - A muscle a day or Do I need to break it down into 1-2 days.. Thanks ahead of time..

First things first. If you are gaining weight, that is DIET, your diet is not right. Next: Your upper torso trainnig will be dictated by your physician. Now then: Lower body, you can train quads/hams/calf/glutes You can likely also train abs and lower back. You can train the muscles each 2-3 nonconsecutive days/times a week, depending on the severity of the training. Last: For cardio..go into the losing fat link in my sig and find the link to HIIT cardio. Good luck!

Thanks, My diet is getting there. I have some adjusting to do.. I do good for a couple of days and then I splurge, so I am adjusting here and there to get over the splurging. I will try to increase the cardio - and hit the HIIT. I will hopefully be able to run soon and get back into it. Thanks for everything you give to DBB.com
