Need Help Bad - Sunday, November 05, 2006 2:53 PM
Hey everyone,
 
 
I am so frusterated with whats going on.  I'm exactly 5'7 inches tall. and I weigh 153 pounds.  My Max Bench Press is 205.  My max squat is 265.  My max deadlift is 225.  I have a terrible routine, I dont know how many reps will make me big and I want to get big.  I have a diet yes, but could someone please send me some routines with reps.  I hate to bother you all but I literally need to  be spoon fed.
 
here are the things that are wrong
 
1. My inner chest is flat while my outter chest sticks out (i have big nipples.)
2. I was eating the wrong foods a while back now Im skinny with a big stomach.
3. I think I arch my back too much while preforming the bench press.
4. I think I use my front delts when doing the bench press and not my chest.
5. I am willing to do anything to get muscular.
 
If you can, please please please help me out here.  I think Im trying to bench press too much because I want pecs more than anything.  Im trying to rep 185 while my max is 205.  I heard heavy weights build muscle though.  If you can please help me.  Thank you.

first of all to get the most out of your workout you NEED to have good form.  If you have to, lower the weight in order to be able to lift with good form, then build up the weight.  I bought a lifting belt and it defintely keeps your posture perfect.  I too have big nipples my chest is evend out.  Work on db flies and butterfly excercises to help build up inner chest muscle.  Same thing with your bench, make sure your holding the bar right, not too wide.  Another important thing people do is they over work thereself becasue they think they will get larger the more they workout.  Dont make that mistake.  Make sure that you give yourself sufficeient recovery time before hittin the bench, or any other machine for that matter.  Another thing i want to ask is are you taking any supplements ?  Give me more information about yourself so i can help you out bro.

thank you so much for your reply.  i have whey protein...i also have creatine mono.  i dont use either though.  would it be better if i use it?  my lower chest isnt cut at all also.  normally when you see someone with good pecs the bottom of their chest folds, mine looks like it folds up.  see i was thinking about db flys but everyone kept telling me that its a useless exercise.  im glad to see you trying to help me.  when i arch my back during the bench press am i cheating?
