didn't see the link. sorry.

i never told you to look in the mirror. i told you to stop measuring yourself daily.  now you stereotype me to be the same person who "checks daily"?

i only want them so i can check occasionally. it would be a nice thing to have.

once again. sorry. i didn't see the link you posted. thanks

i was one of the people that told you that.  but anyways.. it's the past. and you're doing better now that you've laid off the calipers

why do you suggest to avoid digital ones?

they're really annoying and not precise at all. they i had one that told me 1.6% then 11% then 9%. it was ridiculous. manuall calipers are much easier to use and they are precise

I have the same tape as is in this set, I need to get the calipers now.  I really like the tape, it's easy to do it all yourself.

finally got the calipers and measuring tape.

the fat calipers are kinda hard to work, simply on the fact that I don't know exactly HOW HARD to squeeze them.

the tape measures are very nice though.
did a few quick measurements COLD of course.

calves = 15 inches
thigh = just under 23 inches
chest = 42 inches
left bicep flexed = 16.5 inches
left bicep un-flexed = 14 inches
right bicep flexed = just below 17 inches
right bicep un-flexed = 14 inches
forearms = 13 inches

real happy about the measurements.. especially the arms.  wanna get those above 17 inches cold here very soon

15in. calves and almost 17in arms? lol, crazy

i'm surprised ur arms grow that much from flexing, mine change 3/4in. at most but urs are changing by almost 3in.

about squeezing the calipers just go slowly until it clicks into the spot

k.. i played around with the clippies last night.   looks like my tummy is around 12 or 13%.  really hard to tell, but that looks like the right range.

the first time i clicked too hard and i was like WTF?? i'm not 5% bf hahahhaha.

yea.. i will try to post up some pictures here in a few weeks of the biceps with the measuring tape.  i was shocked myself

well. i have the manual caliper clip device.    i'd just never used one before.. so i was having problems getting it right.

how tall are you david?  i'm 6'1''..  my calves really almost refuse to grow. but then again.. i just train them hard and heavy 3 times a week for 2 sets.

you are like me silverfox you need to hammer your calves otherwise they wont grow.  I've started working them every other day with at least 6 sets.  I switch from heavy and moderate weight every workout and ive seen some nice gains so far.  Its only been a few weeks though
