I want to gain more chest muscle. you know those nice chest line. What is the best way to get this chest line? 1. dumbbells, barbells or machine? 2. Press or butterfly? 3. Flat, incline, or decline bench? 4. 100x with Light weight or 10x with heavy weight? 5. Protein shake befor, during or after work out? Thanks!

I do dumbells, 3 sets of 10, bench, incline and decline. that should do it. and go with heavy weight, but make sure you still keep your form. Protein shakes never hurt, they provide the pecs (or any muscle) with nutrients needed to grow.

Your question sounds like it needs a much more involved answer than which exercise to do, actually- See, in order to build muscle, which is one part of what you're trying to do, you need to eat properly- You need enough calories from the right types of proteins, carbs and fats so your body has enough material to make new muscle with. Then, you need the right type of workout- Lifting a weight a hundred times won't really cause your body to build more muscle- It'll just build your endurance. Lifting heavier weights ten times or less should help you reach your goals- Some of the way. The best exercises to do would be the basics- Flat bench, incline bench, decline- You can switch things up of course, but those three should be your foundation most of the time. Now, once you've built some muscle and you want those lines in your chest to be more visible, you're going to have to lose some of the excess body fat you've put on while gaining the muscle- Most of this work, again, is done through your diet. Eating the right amounts of the right food can do more to lose fat than anything else- Cardio work will take care of the rest. Protein shakes are a good thing, but only if the rest of your diet is geared towards your goals- I've seen plenty of people who don't eat well enough, and then they start drinking protein and complaining that it doesn't work- It does, but only if the rest of your diet is working towards the same goals. Hope this helps!

whats a chest line? is that the center of the chest or bottom? I'm going to guess center. To work out the center do close grip bench, barbell press, sqeeze on flies. for upper chest do incline ,for lower do decline. for size 3 sets of 9-12 reps. remember to eat alot, get those caleries up.

Thank you all for the reply. One more question. Do you take protein shake before you work out or after you work out?
