Need to know if this is okay or not? - Thursday, October 23, 2008 1:25 PM ( #1 )
Monday:
Squats [3x5]
Flat Bench Press [3x5]
Military Press [3x5]
Bent Over BB [3x5]
Pulldowns [3x5]
Skull Crushers [3x5]

Wednesday:
Deadlift [3x5]
Incline Bench [3x5]
Hang Clean & Press [3x5]
Bent Over BB [3x5]
Pulldowns [3x5]
BB curls [3x5]

Friday:
Squats [3x5]
Flat Bench Press [3x5]
Military Press [3x5]
Bent Over BB [3x5]
Pulldowns
Skull crushers [3x5]

What should I remove or replace? Should I remove Bent Over BB on Wednesday and replace it with squats? Also what order should they be in?

I'd like to know if this is good, I'd like to follow this for sure. It's quite similar to my HST, just a tad simpler. I'd maybe swap incline and flat...

ever done power cleans?  put those in on monday and wednesday and you won't need shrugs.  also I say do pullups and dips on monday and wednesday instead of curls and skullcrushers.
No the leg press is not the same as doing squats.

what are your goals? Why 3X5? If it's mass your after I'm under the impression 3X8-12 would be more beneficial...Or if you did 5X5, I've read that was a good routine.

i would beleive 5x5 is a overwork out.

The routine looks fine. However, you may want to vary the rep ranges and sets according to the weights you are lifting.

just do 3x5 until you can no longer increase weight and still have good form then switch to another rep range etc. 3x10 or 3x12.  rinse and repeat.

I really like how you have four power lifts in your routine, the 2Xweek squats and also deadlift.  There is a few more power lifts i would add to your routine if you like and that is powercleans, wieghted pull ups and wieghted dips.  I'd do the cleans on the day you dont do deadlifts and do the pull ups and dips on mondays and fridays.  I really like power lifts because it not only targets one large muscle group, but it hits others as well.  Over all i like your routine you have, but i would add more reps.  i dont know maybe your lifting heavy thats why lower reps, but if thats the case i would increase your sets then too.  I hope i may have helped a little.
