Need some more help

Well I was wondering if working my chest, shoulders, biceps, legs and abs all in one day for 4 days a week is considered overtraining. I also was wondering why I am having upper back pains when performing crunches. If anyone is generous enough to give me some advice, it'll be highly appreciated. Thanks.

yes it would be over training maybe do a 3 times a week full body monday, wednesday, and friday. For the crunches check what surface you are doing crunches on that is likely the problem..

Definitely overtraining. As for the crunches, try using the big ab balls. They'll keep you off the hard floor and you'll get a much better range of motion, and it'll hit more of your stabilizer muscles while working your abs.

The upper back strain could be because you are trying to lift yourself with your back and trying to curve up to take some of strain off your abs. When you do crunches put one hand on your abs so you can feel they are doing the work, keep body straight and when you notice you are using your back, and bending towards your legs to help your abs, then stop the exercise.
