Need some information on my weight training + supplements - Friday, May 22, 2009 8:50 PM ( #1 )
I'm 16 years old and have been working out for a good while. Before I started taking supplements I didn't have big gains, and when I did it took a very long time.

I just finished my first cycle of P6 black and increased in bench press, incline, squats, lunges, powercleans, hangcleans, etc. pretty much every lift by about 30 pounds in 3-4 weeks. I only gained about 1lb for some reason which actually pissed me off..

So anyways now i'm taking T-Bomb II which was recommended by a few people to help sustain my gains so I don't lose my muscle before getting on another cycle of P6. My question is what I am doing going to affect my health or future, I know it is dramatically increasing my testosterone but I feel no negative effects except my anger has increased. Physically though I am stronger but I don't want "steroid" consequences if you know what i mean.

Feedback would be nice and any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
Tito

That's a lot of newbie gains. At 16 years old, your body is producing all the supplements necessary, you really don't need supplements with an exception of whey protein and a multi-vitamin at 16 years old...

T-Bomb is a testosterone booster, you DON'T need that, at 16 years old your test levels are sky high.

Stick with a strict nutritional plane, focus on compound movements and progressive resistance and you'll do fine.

Avoid supplements at 16 years old, they're unnecessary.

I tried creatine before I started on the P6 black and it did help some but after 4 weeks of it and little gain I decided to stop.

Right now I have been stacking the creatine along with the T-Bomb just to keep the muscle that I previously gained

The gains you're making most likely isn't due to your supplements.

It's most likely due to the linear progress you're capable of making as a beginner.

Creatine is unnecessary, t-bomb is too, don't artificially mess with your test levels at 16, you could end up seriously messing yourself up when you get older and actually need a test booster.

The questions you need to be concerned with should deal with more in your nutrition and movements, less in the supplements.

this is funny actually because a supplement website recently reccomended me t-bomb knowing i was only 17 saying it was the best thing to gain strength i was like wtf. But t-bomb cant mess up your test in the future because its prohormone free so it doesnt mess with your hormones. Still dont think it is necessary though

A prohormone cuts off testosterone and replaces with a synthetic testosterone.

A testosterone booster will booster your testosterone artificially and I promise you at 17 years old your test levels are as high as they need to be.

Squats and deadlifts (more than any other exercise) demands a whole lot of testosterone itself.

By using a testosterone booster with it's unnecessary you can have your endocrine system being boosted artificially (your endocrine system isn't even fully developed right now) and it could cause problems with testosterone in the future and require you to take a test booster very often as you get older.

Most supplement website will recommend anything to anyone to make money.
