Hey there, I generally work with free weights, excuslively, buy I tried a friend's Nautilus Smith Machine yesterday for my chest/triceps day. I liked the machine, but have a question. I found that for most of my exercises I was only able to do a little more than 3/4 of my normal workout weights. Flat bench was really difficult. Also, do the pulleys on the cable excercises provide more resistance than free weights, like for triceps excercises, for instance? I did notice that the flat bench is guided upward at a slight reverse angle as it is pushed up. Maybe that provides more resistance than regular free bench? Just thought I'd ask, because I felt like a weakling. Cheers, Barry
