 NO and Pre Workout Nutrition

NO and Pre Workout Nutrition - Saturday, September 01, 2007 9:44 PM
I have always been a fan of preworkout nutrition.... Whey and BCAAs and what not....along with postworkout.  This increases protein synthesis, etc.  I was talking with a buddy at work though and when I mentioned this to him, he said that he take NO Xplode and that it says to try and take it on an empty stomach.  So, we were trying to figure out how to approach pre and post nutrition while he is cycling on his NO Xplode.  Any suggestions guys?

Take whey 45-60 minutes before workout, then take No-Xplode 10-15 minutes before workout. An empty stomach is 30-60 minutes with no food.

i wouldnt even take the whey before workout.. i would take the NO 30 min before workout on empty stomach... creatine immediatley after.. and then 2 scoops of whey (around 60 grams) of whey 30 min. after taking creatine...

Seriously don't take no-xplode with any sort of food you will have the absolute worst stomach cramps ever.  I always make sure i have at least an hour and a half of no food or 1 hour after a shake before taking it.

I did state that he shouldnt take his NO Xplode with food. He doesnt have to take the whey pre-workout, but he can if he wants to. But take creatine pre/post if u want the best results. Dont forget your whey 20-25 minutes after ur post creatine.
