NO Shotgun??? - Monday, February 19, 2007 11:17 AM
I have been taking NO xplode for a while and i am ready for something new so i was goin to get NO-shotgun. I like what muscle milk has been doin for me so i am goin to continue with that. my question is are these products good to use together and is there anything else i should stack on

I am currently taking: Fish Oil, Multi-vitamin, L-Glutamine, Glucosomine, Muscle Milk, and NO-xlpode.

looking to use NO-Shotgun instead of NO-xplode

A good creatine and a multivitamin would be the next step.

For vitamin, check out ON OptiMen or Universal Animal Pak. For creatine, try DesignerSupps Replenish, Controlled Labs GreenBulge or Magnitude or the good old creatine mono.

You should take a creatine(Cell Tech) like the wolf dude said, and a good protein(Nitro Tech). There awsome together.

No Muscle Milk is a great protien but the fats and lack of isolate make it less than ideal for post workout, However....research shows that its better for multiple forms of protien to be ingested postworkout not just isolate. On Whey is pretty much the Gold Standard when it comes to Whey

Muscle milk and NO-shotgun both have creatine in them, do i really need to get something like cell mass or cell tech?

muscle milk contains creatine precursors, not actual creatine. it is primarily used as a casein protein product to be used before bed because it is a slow digesting protein.

Like stated above, Muscle Milk has creatine precursors in it, that are designed to help your body make more creatine on its own, therefore you are not actually supplementing with creatine itself when we talk about the MM.  The NO - Shotgun im guessing has a good amount of creatine in it, probably around 2-3 grams.   That is not by any means a small amount of creatine, but its still not a large amount.  You could definately try something like Cellmass by BSN or a different type of CEE if you wanted to keep your gains lean.  But adding any type of creatine to this stack would definately not hurt.  I'd suggest an Ethyl Ester creatine, but just plain mono would work well too.

Your call, good luck.
