Just got this. Bottle says take one tablet 3x a day. Any other advice? Or is that the way it goes. I went to their web site, but no FAQs on the product. - B

bmengotto, I' d suggest following the directions on the particular product. But that does seem odd. NO2 and Nitroxide and most other NO2 type supplements all seem to say (roughly), that you take 3 pills on an empty stomach in the morning. Then 3 more before lunch. And not after 3pm. I' ve not seen a product that says take 1 pill, 3x a day. Not that it' s wrong, it just isn' t following what most other companies are doing. It could be they have a time-released forumla, or maybe more potency that takes longer to break down. It' s hard to tell exactly. Whatever it says on the bottle is what I' d follow for now. If you feel no effects whatsoever, you might try switching to one of the other products that follows more of the routine of 3 in the morning and another 3 before lunch. Honestly, NO2 type products are so new, with so little hardcore research behind them, nobody really can say for certain what amounts, at what times are rules. Creatine has 40 years of research behind it. NO2 has like 40 days. So go with the flow. Do what the directions tell you for now.

Suggested use: As a dietary supplement, take 1 tablet, three times daily. Active ingredients: AKG 3500mg (Arginine Alpha-ketoglutarate & pH controlled delivery) That' s from the label. Like I said, I went to the site and there was no information on when to take, etc... I guess I' ll follow its recommended use.

Bdiddy- Yup. Follow the directions. It' s just a different amount then the others and it is a controlled delivery. Meaning that it breaks down slowly over the day. You might try SportPharma Nitroxide. It' s very very similar to the original NO2 product and it' s a few bucks cheaper. Just wondering if you have tried this yet. I noticed an immediate pump feeling the first time I tried this product.

Haven' t felt shiznat yet. All that' s pumped on my is my belly. So far nothing from the big horse pills I' m taking. Maybe NOS is just crap. Who knows. I need to give it some time before I can notice anything, but atm I am not noticing any perpetual pump... B

B, Go get your BF% tested. I know that most people who really experience that pump have a high percentage of muscle. Since this supplement tends to dialate the blood vessels and gives you a muscle pump feeling, it stands to reason that the more muscle you have, the more of an effect from this supplement you will feel. Additionally, for most supplements, give it a full 21 days, taking it daily (workout or not) per the dosage. If after 21 days you feel nothing, notice nothing, then the only thing it might be doing is making your wallet thinner.

Riiight... Where am I gonna do that? Plus, I' m straight FAT. I' d say I' m 20% or more bf rating. 5' 5" 209 lbs. F A T FAT. I think my target weight for my size is like 150 at the max. Maybe I' ll just go through this bottle and wait until I' m a lot thinner to take it again. If you want fat measured, I think you have to belong to a gym. I don' t really think the waist, neck measurement thing is very accurate... - B

You can get bodyfat tested from a gym. If you don' t belong to one, it' s easy enough to get it done professionally at your Dr' s Office. It would give you a reference point. It' s always easier to finish a race when you know where you start and where you end. Measurable goals are one of keys to success in obtaining fitness. Always strive to do just a little better then the last time. That is why most places will tell you to use a bodybuilding journal or keep a log book. So you know where you' ve been and you can see where you need to go. 7-9 point caliper test is pretty good. Pretty much the standard. It does depend on how many points are measured and how competent the person measuring you really is. It' s worth getting tested just for the reference point.
