Had a local Bench contest today. 3 attempts. Can not lower attempt weight. 1st: 275 - got sloppy on this but still got the lift in 2nd: 295 - almost got stuck 6in up but kept it moving. 3rd: 305 - r. shoulder was not part of the program here, failed, maybe I should have just gone for an even 300. Still not bad considering that I struggled with 200 4 months ago and got 295 here. Still came in 3rd in the 30+ age group, it was adjusted for bodyweight and mine is still to high. Paul

ORIGINAL: mda1125 Congrats! And you said you had a cold as well. Thanks, on one hand, I'm psyched because I'm very close to my goal of 315 but on the other hand I can still remember what 450 felt like, but that was a loooooooooong time ago and I have to keep remembering that I started weight training only 4 months ago so this is very good. congrats pwolf, i hate the bodyweight percentage stuff....i lost miserable because i only had a 1.64 lift that day......most other guys were all 2.0 and above!!! yikes!!! well who knows they might all be gone by now....so i can win...yay take care of that shoulder wolfman
