I just bought some new supplements. When they come in (next week), I'm going to start with this log. I'll be taking:

ON 100% Whey Gold Standard (choclate)
Animal Pak
Size-On creatine (pills)
CoEnzyme Q10 w/ Omega 3 Fish Oil
CLA (pills)

And possibly Xceed, but so far I have really hated the taste of the stuff.

I'll be doing the German Volume Training workout routine, with a few tweaks of my own (I'll log them). I've been doin it for almost 2 weeks now and it's a pretty solid workout.
I am also entering my last season of college football... so on non-lifting days (and only twice a week), I'll be doing a quick conditioning, agility, plyometric, and speed workout. (I'm straying away from the team's program for the course of this log)

Next week I'll post: weight, bodyfat, chest size, bicep size, forearm size... and we'll see what happens.

1st workout - 5/29
Weight: 180

Morning: Oatmeal, AnimalPak, Vitamin C, CoQ10
11 am: Workout
Post workout: SizeOn, ON Whey Protein, Quiznos Sub
Evening: Dinner (ehh, too much to type)
Before Bed: ON Whey Protein


German Volume Training was alot tougher than i expected... but i planned on varying it anyway, so heres what i did today:

Bench press -  4 x 10, 1 x 6
Pull ups - 5 x 10
Incline DB Flys - 2 x 10
One-arm DB Rows - 2 x 10
Man Makers - 2 x 5

What are man-makers? Are they deadlifts?

A man-maker is a like a burpee, push-up, one arm DB row, clean, and shoulder press... with dumbells,  then repeat.  its really hard to explain... just google it or somethin.


Got my leg (leg, abs, forearm) work today, it was as follows:

Leg Press - 4 x 10
Leg Curl - 4 x 10
Walking lunges w/ weight - 2 x 20 yards
Calf Raises - 3 x 10
Wrist Curls - 3 x 10
Weighted decline sit-ups - 3 x 10

thats it. supplements were all the same as yesterday.

weight so far: still varying from 180 to 183

not sure if anybody was even keeping up with it... but..  last week i decided to hang up the cleats.
couple of reasons.. the biggest one being that i dont want to be in a different state away from my g.f anymore.
i also pulled my hamstring last season, and can still feel it tweaking when i run. ive had shoulder surgery also.. and i really just think id like to be able to run when im 40 and be able to play with my future kids.

so anyway, the point of this: im not tryin to bulk anymore for a sport..  so now the goal is to tone up a little bit, then slowly gain a little more mass. comments/advice is very much welcomed
