This may be the most n00b question ever, but 2 days ago I worked traps/shoulders/back (which got hit exactly right) and for some reason my brachialis of all muscles, hates me so to speak (hurts horribly and feels like it's ripping when I straighten my arm). Yesterday, it wasn't nearly as sore, but today I just feel like sawing off my arm. Is this normal? Or did I just overtrain?

I don't want to sound like I'm ****ing, so sorry if it comes across that way. I consider this a growing mistake. lol. Just asking so I can adjust a few things and not hurt myself.

Excuse the topic name. LOL.

Are you new to lifting, starting a new routine, or starting back after a long break? If any of these are the case, it may be why.

However, generally speaking, soreness is not an indicator of effectiveness and shouldn't be a general staple. Give it some time to heal up and don't train on it until it feels better.
