Fish Oil....That's it.  I just discovered fish oil.  I've seen ppl list it in their supplements that they take and recommend it to other people, but no where have I read why.  So, I bought some for 3$, a 2 month supply of the stuff.  I started lifting July of 2005 at 146 pounds.  In five months, I was up 16 pounds, so that put me at 162.  That was pretty awesome.  Then the second semester of school started, and I had a p.e. class, so I finally got to lift with free weights and do squats, bench press, etc. instead of my standalone, all-in-one weight machine at home.  I finished school at 159 pounds....what the heck, lost weight?!?  I was eating healthy and lifting properly.... 

October 7, 2006 (160 pounds with clothes)
At walmart, looking at their supps, not interested, then I see fish oil.  It was cheap, I had money....it was mine.  October 28, 171 pounds naked and starving (not literally, as i cannot fully understand the meaning of starving as ive never been dying of it).

Seriously what in the world would cause it to have such an effect.  Roughly 11 pounds of muscle.  Oh yeah, and my bf% went down a little! 

I'm not saying fish oil will do this to you too, but if you havent gained in forever, like me, then i would advise you to make a 3$ investment and test your luck.  I'll post some new pics once i get up to 180.  I'm still shredded and everything, its weird.  Arms and chest are noticably bigger...i dunno.  It's crazy.

You guys can respond to this if you want, but i am mainly posting it just to tell about it.

toolman, didnt i read somewhere that u were gunna cycle PH's? or gear? maybe that has somthing to do with 11 pound gain? but i could be mistaken, either way congrats on the gains.

i also see this in many peoples diet but i have not yet tried it.  Any body have any decent articles on fish oil? Or anything to say about it?

I highly doubt your gains were through the result of taking fish oil.  Fish oil promotes weight loss and healthy skin amongst other things.  You might be eating differently or your growth is a result of another supplement

no. there are one of 2 options here.

fishoil helps lose fat and aids in heart health, thats it. His tests were WRONG. someone did one of the 2 tests incorrectly. Even with steroids its IMPOSSIBLE to gain 11lbs in 1 month.

11 lbs in a month is impossible on steroids? Many people on a SD/SD Clone cycle see around 10-15 lbs with a 3 week cycle. Now im not saying this is 100% lean muscle, I can guarantee theres some fat gain as well, especially if you go on a hypercaloric bulking diet while on a PH. Also dont tell me its water weight. I actually lost 4 lbs the first few days, but now Im back up to 170 and I'm just finishing my first week. Hopefully after PCT Ill be around 175-180.

wtf is pct, i like flax seed oil (its same as fish oil i believe) its good for repairing ligaments and **** to i think, it also stimulates brain development, i think its all teh omega 3 and 6, and yeah i like it, and i like vaugn true's back btw, very cut.

this doesnt make any sense, how the hell do you get huge off of fish oil? its a fatty acid, when the hell do fatty acids make you get big?

what i meant was that 11 pounds of pure lbm was not attainable in 11 days. A common steroid cycle runs 12 weeks(3 months) and most users would be more than impressed if they could gain 25lbs. So no, 11lbs of lbm is NOT possible in 1 months. 11lbs of muscle, water, and bloating is very possible

im looking pretty bad lately avaric...havent been allowed to touch a weight in a month now...lost 14lbs and gained about 3-4% bf. I have to go for some more tests on thursday, but it looks like I might need surgery after all

i didnt gain 11 lbs in 11 days....i gained 11 lbs. in 21 days.  And my tests werent wrong....i check my weight 2-3 times daily and bf% every day during the week (is that weird?)  I really did gain 11 lbs.  I'm only on fish oil and on 100% whey right now, and i've been taking the whey for months, my diet stayed the same

oh, i take 2 fish oil caps 3 times daily after the 3 big meals i have

Hmm.... Well it does really sound to good to be true. But I do have fish oil that I bought recently so I might as well give it a go.

Did it help your max? Maybe you can post your workout before and after, like how many sets at what weight, etc?

I think he'd know if it was eleven pounds of fat.
Regardless of what fish oil does, what roids do, time frames for gaining muscle- The pics will show the difference.
Toolman's had some good gains, and wants to share his advice on the fish oil he attributes the gains to- It's not like he's working for some supp company, trying to sell anyone on the latest product- He's spreading the word about a cheap diet supplement that everyone can benefit from.
As far as the results go, perhaps it was from something else- But then again, perhaps not. Someone on this site recently mentioned a friend who was in competition shape who drinks tons of diet soda. For most people, drinking tons of diet soda would leave us far from being in shape for a comp. I'm sure everyone here knows someone who manages to maintain a nice physique even though they eat like crap- and vice versa, I'm sure plenty of us here know people who can't seem to get in shape no matter how healthy they try to eat.
Perhaps, with all the individual differences out there, Toolman's found something that works for him- Perhaps, with the added fat regulating help the fish oil gives him, his body was able to overcome some sort of muscle building obstacle-
Congratulations, toolman- enjoy your gains.
