My transformation. Critique away
-

I started working out because of a severe leg injury. I started getting more into bodybuilding from there and I love it. Critique away people! My before picture: My after picture(s): Rear Double Bi: Calves: That's all I have time for right now, but I will be adding pictures in the future! Thanks for your help guys. I know my lats need A LOT of work so I have been hitting them very very hard lately. Other than that, what needs work? EDIT: Some new ones for you guys. I will post my routine if anyone is interested. The best I could do for the leg shot. Biceps are a definite weak point for me. I am going to start hitting them twice a week. A few sets after squats and again on arms day. There you go guys. Let me have it.

That's a tough front pic to judge off of. Do you have a front relaxed or front double bi? Also, where are the legs?

Definate improvement. But ya, that front pose is kinda close up to really judge the differences in size.

The after photo pose looks a bit hard to compare with otherwise, but even so, there's a MASSIVE improvement. Well done! How long'd it take you to get to where you are? Looking good.

I have been working out for about 4 years, but I really started getting serious about in the last two years. I am an ecto so it's pretty hard to put on mass and keep it.

5 more lbs max.. Don't add anymore past that your BF% will be to high. Your 195 goal should be a 1 year goal. maybe even a 2 year.. I mean you can get there in 6 - 8 months but you will just look fat... or like you some what work out.. just a bigger guy.. But if you were at 10% coming from say 165 - 175 at 5% or 7% then you would look very beastly. Regardless your goal is going to take atleast a couple years.

calves are more genetic than anything, they can grow a little, but yours may never look like his.
working on explosive phase vertical: 35 weight: 206 Big 3: 300/440/515 Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle.

Yeah I wasn't expecting to get there any time soon. That is my overall goal. I have smaller goals set for myself, those are just the major ones I am looking to accomplish. Thanks for the advice as well.

cody Can you please tell me your calves workout i am highly interested I work my calves on leg day, immediately after squats. Tri-set Calf Raise on Leg press machine x30 Standing calf raise w/ no weight. x30 Standing calf raise on flat ground x30 I do this three times. As RollingStone said, calves are way more genetics than anything. I see guys in the gym waaaaay bigger than me busting ass on calves and they never seem to grow. I just got lucky I guess.

Amazing how those measurements look on a 5'7" frame. Legs are out of control, man!!! I'll 2nd your idea to work on lats. Think chest could use some focus too, but as others have said it's a little difficult to judge w/o a front relaxed shot. Relaxed shots are so much more instructive than posed flexed ones, imo. What's your diet like and supp stack? Your beginning pic doesn't strike me as "ecto." Where's the ecto "skinny"? Maybe it's just me. Awesome progress, man! Good workin' out! :)

Good workin' out! :) I played soccer from the age of 4 so the legs have always come naturally to me. I have been hitting both the lats and chest hard lately, really focusing on compound lifts like deads and a lot of incline press. I will take some relaxed photos in the next few days and post them so you can get a better picture of where I am at. Diet is good, have been eating 6 small meals a day and getting anywhere from 220-500 cals over maintenance per day so I am very happy with that. Mainly consists of chicken, tuna, fish, whole grain brown rice, whole grain bread and veggies. As far as supplements go, I am taking Jack3d so I can bump up the intensity in the gym. After workouts I take 5g creatine monohydrate with a simple sugar like a gatorade or banana. After that I make a protein shake with roughly 40-50 grams of protein. I try not to overthink and keep it simple. I have just always been told I am an ecto. What would you say I look like instead?

In my Jr. High and early High School days I was picked on a lot. I was pretty dorky. I started developing a lot more confidence after I started seeing results at the gym. People stopped picking on me, too. :) Now I go to the gym to see how far I can push my body. It's my lifestyle now. PS: Don't worry about the thread jack. I do it all the time. haha
