Ok,I posted here a few weeks ago, be the start of Feb, I was adivised to start cutting then go for a clean bulk. So I dropped 800 cals from my diet and increased my cardio somewhat, carried on with weights as usual ( my intention was to lift as if I was bulking but eat for losing fat.
So average total calories are around 2,000-2,100. Eating clean generally the same thing everyday. I feel that I've made a little progress but nothing major. Cardio hasn't been to regular maybe 3 times one week twice another ( think I should add more- I sit on my ass all day working so until I workout I don't do much really.
My typical cutting diet is as follows ( please amend if I'm eating some bad foods or maybe add some for me?)
- meal 1
3 weetabix with ON whey mix water as milk substitute
Apple , peanut butter teaspoon
-meal 2
2 large eggs scrambled, 1 piece of toast
banana
meal 3
-tin of tuna
1 piece of toast
-meal 4
chicken, tinned tomatoes with garlic
brocolli, string beans, handful of pasta, or small potatoe
-meal 5 - before bed
ON whey with water
maybe a bowl of cereal with the whey as milk sub ( not always)
Before / 2/Feb
After Pics ( not much difference really, a little fat has gone from under my belly button, maybe I am slightly leaner not sure..You tell me please!)
—relaxed
My lats got a bit bigger since the before pics, I learn't a few new excercies to help build them which I'm pleased about.
What are peoples thoughts? I was thinking maybe doing 3-4 HIIT sessions a week, feel like my main downfall is not enough cardio to promote fat loss. What do people think? If HIIT would be wise how many sessions and for how long?
Thanks everyone, always appreciate the advice!
