Hello to all I am new to this site, however everything I have seen so far is great. The community here is overwhelmingly supportive, and straight forward. Here is my situation, I am 6 foot 240lbs. I have been working out for about two years now ,but have not reached the body type I would like. I am currently in Iraq, will be here until oct-nov time frame so I have plenty of time to work out. Monday- Chest/Abs Tuesday Legs Wend- Back/ ABs Thurs-Shoulders/Calves Friday- Bi/Tri Sat & Sun Off I dont do cardio because there is no real place to do it where I am at, also we do patrols for hours with all this gear in the blazing hot sun. My supplements that I am taking is Protien, T Bomb, Glutamine. Im trying to add muscle and cut down. Any help would be greatly appreciated

ORIGINAL: DaJulz Ok first things first, you must decide whether you want to build muscle OR "cut down" as you said. It's very hard, sometimes impossible, to do both at the same time. So if you think you've got too much excess body fat already, then you may want to burn fat with cardio for a while until your body fat is at a reasonable level and then you can focus on building muscle mass. You say you can't do cardio where you are, but I'm sure you can find somewhere to go for a run? On the other hand if you want to go straight to putting on some muscle, then go for it. Your workout schedule looks OK to me, although personally I would split it up further so you only train 3-4 times a week, with a whole day break inbetween each workout. Hope that helps a little. I agree completly. Bro you need to decide on wheather or not you want to build muscle "bulk" or cut. It's hard to do both at the same time. 6'0, 240. you're a pretty big guy. Your routine isn't bad, but as mentioned by DaJulz I would probably slack down on the days work so that you're working out only 3-4 times per week. Your routine isn't bad though, what exactly exercises do you do? For each day? What are your lifts? That information would allow us to help out a lot more.
