Muscle catabolism - Thursday, May 25, 2006 9:18 PM
Hi I'm new to this forum, and contrary to what most people in this forum want, I'm interested to know what exercises, diet, hormone-influencing behaviour, and timing is optimum for inducing muscle catabolism?

The objective is to reduce the cross-sectional area of the muscle.

Is it correct to employ endurance-type exercises, low carbohydrate diets, and abstinence at the right times will induce muscle catabolism and therefore reduce muscle cross-sectional area?

If you would be so kind to post your 'professional' reply; kindly suggesting exercises, diet, hormone-influencing behaviour, and correct timing for these elements; it would be so very much appreciated.

If you are looking to get small, which is what I am getting from your post, concentrate on high endurance cardio, little weight intensity.
Lower protein.
