If you love Muscle Milk but want more calories and carbs, try "Muscle Milk Collegiate".  I just tried it today for the first time, and it tastes just like regular Muscle Milk, but contains 40g protein, 88g complex carbs, 580 calories, and 7g of fat.

I'm not sure if this is brand new or not, but I just saw it for the first time.  You can get a 5 pound tub for about $30 at www.bodyconcept.com

You need to take 4 scoops of the stuff to get 580 calories....now imagine how many calories if you took 4 scoops of regular muscle milk....1200ish?

1 serving regular muscle milk:
cal=348 protein=32g carbs=12g fat=18g

1 serving muscle milk colligiate:
cal=580 protein=40g carbs=88g fat=7g

1 serving of regular muscle milk is 2 scoops.  I you took 4 scoops you would only get 24g of carbs and over 30g of fat.

It is a new line.  Very costly I heard.

Designed specifically to comply with the collegiate rules.

While any player can go out and do whatever they want, the college itself isn't allowed to give or sell supplements to the athletes.  I heard they can't even give athletes BCAA's!

Cytosport designed the line to adhere to the rules so that a college can purchase the product.

As an individual user, I don't see any reason to use it unless you like the nutritional layout.  And that's fine.

It's not for college kids or anything.

It's so the college can purchase the supplement.

It's not like UCLA or whatever can get school funds to go buy their team NO-Explode.  It breaks the rules they have for athletes.

I'm not an expert on this subject I just know the line is new and it was designed to allow colleges the ability to purchase that type of supplement.

580 is a lot of calories???  that's not even close to "a lot of calories", especially for somebody wanting to bulk up

Cytogainer is dense in carbohydrates and contains some creatine...IMO opinion the best one postworkout b/c of its whey source and the best one for bulking.
