Muscle memory? - Sunday, June 18, 2006 8:10 AM ( #1 )
I Havnt been able to work out in almost 3 months due to my broken forearm and clavicle.  Since I have such a high metabalism I have lost about 15 pounds.  Since all I do is sit around all day and watching everyone else have the fun and by seeing i'm less cut know i would have to guess i'm loseing muscle and gaining fat....  That means all the hard work i did this past year to gain all that weight I will have to work for again.  ......  SO is muscle memory true ( i sure hope so)  How fast should I gain it alll back?  This is really bugging me....

yeah its for real...i had shoulder surgery about 7 weeks ago and for the first month i kept losing muscle. and i lost about 15 pounds. i got really worried about it cause i have to wrestle 215 pounds next year (i was 220, now im 205) with a low body fat...so i asked a coach at my wrestling clinic who was a 3-time all american in college and a 2 time national runner-up at 197 pounds and hes freakin jacked, the dude looks like a greek statue and benches like 400-something pounds..but yeah i was askin him and he said dont worry about it cause as long as you lift hard and eat a lot you'll gain all the muscle you had back in about a month

You should gain back pretty quick. Don't worry about it.

Ya these guys are right. I had to lay off for lifting for a while when I had wrist surgery, but I gained back what I had lost in a couple of weeks.

Your muscles will come back very quick I saw a friend that broke his arm and his mucles returned to how they were before in a short amount of time.  Dont worry you didnt lose all ur hard work.

I lost all inspiration to lift awhile ago and I lost a whole inch off my bicep and a lotta bf on my abs. I got it all back and more in a month or so.

Someone always has to write on the walls "Mike was here". But then someone else puts an arrow and it says "Mike is a ****got". So Mike comes back to check it out, "What the hell?! I was here but not as a ****got!"
