I take mens one a day. I have been told that you can have one in the morning and one pill after dinner, but there has been people who have told me that taking more then 2 pillz a day is bad for my health. I just wanna get it straight from a master like Dan. Is it OK to take 2 pills a day or will that over do it. Also if you can take 2 pills a day, are there circumstanzes. (like only taking 2 on workout day and on rest day only take one) Thanks for the help

Do not take 2 Multivitamin pills from a 1-a-day formulation a day! The formulation of vitamins is such that the amount of each ingredient is below the point of excess but above the point of minimal essential dose. At higher dosages, many nutrients in multi vitamins can cause inhibitions in absorption, digestion, or other bodily function issues, and some doses can cause toxicity. That simplified statement being said, it is not advisable for you to take 2 of a 1-a day multi. You might end up causing problems. Some nutrients are fat soluble and some are water soluble. fat soluble vitamins stay in the body and are a higher risk of toxicity or overconsumption. If you want, break them in half. Split the consumption that way. Plenty of MVs are in 2-6 a day formulations. Yes, there are clinical occurances of nutrient excess. If you are bodybuilding, your food is providing nutrients and so the multi is insurance that all bodily systems have the minimum nutrition in case the diet is deficient. And most diets do suffer from some deficiency, even healthy bodybuilder diets of 5000 calories! Anyway, ignore the people who say to take two of a 1-a-day. It is simply not smart. There are nutrients that are beneficial in larger dosages and frequently these tend to be water soluble such as C, B, etc.
