I don't know too much about multi vitamins but I heard you should take them after you workout. Has anyone had any experience with multi vitamins? are they worth the money? I just looked at the GNC ones today that last a month and are $50. Do they really make that much of a difference? Do they help at all with strength?

Multivitamin is very important, it is very difficult to consume every single vitamin and mineral that the body needs on a daily basis, so yes, it is a good idea.

Most can get away with a cheaper alternative to anything GNC sells. Try Costco or Wal-Mart for vitamins, just make sure that they are natural sourced. If you want to spend more money, great, there are alot of options available including liquid.

ORIGINAL: gmen123 okay but does it help significantly or little with strength? No, not unless you have a severe deficiency in one or more types of minerals. It usually has to do more with having the needed vitamins for cell processes associated with recovery. I suppose some people will have an easier time when lifting, but for most, the difference is not noticable.

I take one-a-days, since i started taking vitamins regularly again (been about 3 months now) I notice I get less fatigued during the day, think more clearly, and am much more alert at work and school. Being healthy has become addictive to me.

For overall health.....for all people. It is what they prevent that they should be taken.

rofl... NO, you don't need GNC's 50 dollar vitamins. that's ridiculous. save ur money.. get 10 dollar walmart vitamins, and spend the extra 40 on a NICE supplement. no, you shouldn't notice extra strength from taking multi's... but it does help keep you healthy all-around.

Just suck it up and get Animal Pak. $18 for 48 paks? That's not bad.

Unless the bottle tell you to take 2 a day, your just wasting one of those pills, excess minerals are just expelled w/ your piss...Most vitamins are one a day and that is truely all that is needed.
