I don't know I have lost soooo much motivation. Its like I don't even want to go near a weight. I had got carpal tunnel and now it seems it totally gone, but when or if I get back to working out I now feel like dropping it. What do I do I have a huge motivation loss lately. I don't care about my nutrition or anything fitness related lately:(

Do you have any goals? Written down? The only way I get motivated to reach for anything is when it's clearly written down and I have steadfast determination. You are going to be tested on your journey to any goals. Tested all the time. Maybe you will know it and maybe not. But without some positive attitude, a plan, a sensible goal and determination, you are bound to fail. I'm tested every single day. In the gym, on this forum, from an email, from myself, friends.. you name it. Sometimes I pass, other times I don't. Doesn't matter. I know where I want to go and I'll step sideway to keep moving forward. My point is.. motivation has to come from you. And you need something to kick start you. Mine is passion for something. I personally get really motivated with a new program. Dunno. Just do. Something new, a new goal, new routine, new journal.. whatever. Keeps me moving forward.

To get through this, make the gym and your diet non-negotiables. Just like school and work. You go and do, whether you want to or not. Otherwise, you won't get your goals (and like Marc said, know what they are!).

maybe try a new type of working out. like no weights just body weight stuff. watch rocky IV listen to music that pumps you up. if all else fails take a picture of yourself and put it next to some body who you want to look like. (ex. ambercrombie and fitch model or ronnie coleman) tell yourself you can stop when you look like that.

You could always try re-sizing your sig so it doesn't stretch out the threads like this. I know how you feel though- Sometimes, it seems like a real pain to keep up on all this eating and training- Times when I miss a day or two and get discouraged, what helps me is to realise that it's the big picture that counts- Sure, I might have fallen off, and "starting over" might seem like a lot of work, especially since you might feel like you've let yourself down already- But the truth is, even this can be part of the game. Getting back on track can actually prove to be a great re-motivational tool- First things first, eat like you mean it- You know that eating a full day's worth of muscle building food will make you feel better, and give you tons of energy for working out- Next thing you know, you'll be back under those weights, making a difference. It also helps me to find new ways to make that food- Since that's usually what trips me up anyway, eating tons of stuff all day every day. Sometimes, I feel like I'm a slave to food, and I need a break- Coming up with a different recipe can definitely change that when the same old thing gets sort of stale.

Works on my screen. In a way, it is good that you are holding back..it would be better to start off easy...12 minutes lifting in the gym and get out. I am not joking. Warm up good (including the wrists), Superset basic moves, about 2 sets each of 6 moves in the 12-15 rep range, maybe 6 minutes of cardio, cool down and get out. 20 minutes all told if you do cardio. Can you spare 20 minutes right now? And do as CPL said about the diet, change it up and start to enjoy food again. Take a little time to get your head focused on what is important to you. If the gym is not a main priority, no problem...20 minutes 3-4x a week.
