More Speed When Fighting

I've been doing Tae Kwon Do since i was 4, and i've been getting into the fighting more then anything else and i've been wonder is there anything i can do to be faster, in kicking and dodgingg any advices? thanks :D

when it comes to kicking and punching, get into the gym and lift but not with too heavy weights and not too much with free weight, then train explosivlycontrary to proper weight lifting technique, dont move slowly thru extentions. push on something that weighs 40 lbs like it weighs 240 (metaphorically speaking) for dodging, train you obliques exclunsivly and spar lol.. in all acctuality you could go out in a tennis lot and have someone in close ranges spike tennis balls at you! it'd do some good
