Month and a half off..getin soft - Monday, August 11, 2008 9:11 AM ( #1 )
I was going to start a new routine. I had previously done HST routine but i really like split routines. So i figured i do a 2 day split twice a week.

Mon: Chest and Shoulders/traps
Flat bench 3x10
incline 3x10 switch up with dips
Military press 3x10
shrugs 3x10 i have horrible traps

Tue:legs and back
squats 6x10
pull downs 3x10 i dont have a pull up bar
barbell rows 3x10

How does it look?

wen:off

thurs:chest and shoulders
flat 4x5
incline 4x5
cgb 3x8 or skull crushers
military 3x8
lat raise 3x12

fri: legs and back
squats 5x5
pull downs 4x6
deads 3x10
barbell curls 3x10

Traps are part of back and come from pulling movements so I would put them there - that's the first thing I noticed.

There's no reason to do flat, incline and ohp on monday. I'd take out incline and go flat, ohp, dips - take out shrugs and put them on tuesday if you keep them at all.

I'd also take out barbell curls on friday and do underhand rows instead. They slam your biceps with more weight than curls and you get to hit the lats hard.

I also think you have too much going on thursday so I'd do something like this:

Flat 4x5 rotate with incline week to week
cgb 3x8 better than skullcrushers imo - more weight
military 3x8
drop lat raises military press hits lat delts hard.

Take what you want from that just the things I would change.
