Milk

This question might sound odd, but are there any negative effects of drinking too much milk, I have heard from many of the body builders at my gym that milk is bad for muscle growth. They say drink rice or soy milk, but i have also heard bad things about those? Any advice?

Nice way to add some extra calories when you are too stuffed to get anymore solid food down. Ive never read anything from a reliable source that indicated milk might be harmful to muscle growth.

If those dude say drink rice or soy milk instead of cow's milk, they don't know what they are talking about. Whole milk is one of the best things you can consume for overall growth. If you're trying to cut weight, you'll want to take it easy on how much you drink, but as far as building muscle, drink as much milk as you want. It's great for you.

I started to cut back because I used to drink 24 oz after a meal or whenever I felt like it, and I started having stomach problems.

milk is great, could add unwanted fat if you consume tons but the benifts greatly outweigh everything else.
