I wouldnt recommend it. and if you do decide to drink some. Drink it at breakfast or earlier in the day, keep it at about 1-2 glasses, preferably 1.

I dont know, I just think milk has too many carbs for a cut. Especially when your thinking your getting better carbs elsewhere with whole grains/fiber. I suppose its all up to preference and how you manage the rest of your food. When I cut the first time I just didnt have room for much of it.

Creation i dont see why not GI = 27 and on a cut you just wanna stay away from high GI foods ps dont forget you NEED fat on a cut Low GI or not, part of cutting involves controlling insulin spikes, and insulin is highly responsive to milk. I don't think a little milk will ruin a cut, but it could certainly slow it down. Personally I'd lay off it and finish the cut ASAP.

I drink 2 cups milk + 2 scoops protien for breakfast every single day. I cut from 220 to 175. I like milk, but I try to keep it earlier in the day. It all comes down to basic carb and calorie intake though.

the GI (glycemic index) is a rating on how quickly your blood sugar rises based on 100 being glucose. Milk is low on the scale, so it does not "spike" insulin levels. Lactose in milk is made of 2 sugars that must be broken down into 2 seperate sugars before they are digested and released for use.

I'll say it again: The GI is not always an accurate measure of insulin response. Milk has a much higher rating on the insulin index than what you might expect if you're only considering its low rating on the glycemic indeX.
