Midnight snack?
-
Monday, July 09, 2007 9:41 PM
Actually at 3:30am. My last meal of the day is at 10:30-11:00, my post workout meal. I was thinking about setting my alarm for 3:00 or 3:30am and waking up and eating a few hard boiled egg whites, then going back to bed until 6am, when I wake up for the gym. The idea is to keep my body anabolic, I know egg white protein digests fast so I don't want to go through the trouble of waking up from my slumber if I'm not going to get any benefit from it, and I'm not waking up to cook, so hardboiled egg whites is my only choice.

I think eggs can't be digested fast, it's like any other solid food. What about some whey?

I think I read somewhere that Jay Cutler does this same thing except with a shake or something.
