Mid back pain from squat max...

So I had 295 on the rack feelin very eager to tackle 5 reps equalling a amx of 340 on our school charts. I got it and felt i could do more. Ive never worn a belt and my buddy advised me i should probably try it at this wait as i was gonna do 315 3 times. I said i never used it and didnt want it to effect me. On my 3rd rep going up i felt uncomfortable and half way up my back took over as i was hunched over completely terrible form. I racked it and my boddy looked at me and said that was awful looking. The mid part of my back is rediculous in pain. Ive iced it and no using a heating pad and gonna look into a friend of mine givin me one of her massages.. but is there anything else except the ice and heat i can use. How long off from lifting...i HATE not lifting for more than a day and know im gonna only take a day off if i feel that ill be alright for lifting again after it. any ideas...

hopefully ull be lucky and itll just be sore muscles. If not u could be seriously injured.

Im hoping for that...its not hurtin too bad with the heat right now though. I shall see...think im gonna go set up that massage haha

That sucks.. Like iron raider said it could be serious... Were you useing a belt, and what region does it hurt?
