Kiss my ass Keto

When your getting off Keto and ready to add carbs back into the diet, as long as you keep the kcals the same but lower protein and fat to balance out the carbs you shouldn't gain weight should you? I know the body is not used to using carbs for energy anymore but if you are burning more than you take in then you shouldn't be gaining right?  EXAMPLE: 1841KCALS  240g pro 89g fat 20g carbs, if you switch it to 130g pro 40g and 240g carbs same kcals.

You will gain weight.  It will be mostly glycogen and water but a little bit of fat.

And I hope your first example of 240g protein and 89g fat is just an example and not what you were running on keto because that would have you burning protein for energy which is a problem.

Too late, it was the palumbo diet so it started off with more fat, and I adjusted after getting to a point where I was doing two hours of cardio everyday. It was a waste of time and muscle. A lot of gluconeogenesis occurred your right, now I'm just trying to get off it and onto a maintenance diet without getting fat.
