What is your max bent over Barbell Row?

I was just wondering.. I was checking out the youtube.. I saw some pretty big guys maxing on 225 and i was shocked...

Anyways i dont know what my max barbell row is..

I know I can do this:
205 x 8 reps

I think my max might be this: although i have never maxed
235 - 245 x 1 - 2 reps

i havnt maxed in a few weeks but my last power set was about 3-4 weeks ago and i did 235 for 2 reps by now i should be able to hit 250 for 1.

i saw the same thing, except it was at my gym. a couple of guys that were training together saw me doing bent over rows so they did it when i was done and the stronger of the 2 maxed out at like 190-200 and this guy was atleast 220 pounds.

You know something man.. 5 weeks ago i tried to do 185 on a barbell row.. and i could barely do it once... It was the first time i have ever tried them.. Then all the suddon the week after i did 185 x 5... Then this last week I was doing 205 fairly easy x 6... I dont know what happend?? Even my bench never went up that fast... im not taking any sups or anything that would increase my strength like that...

My theory is everyone has their strong points in weight training.

You know what though i have really been getting a rush out of the barbell rows shoulder shrugs incline press db shoulder press.. I Love it... I need to get some wrists straps though my hands cant hold the weight anymore.

yeah man, that happens when you start a new excersise or change it a little bit, your back is basically having beginner gains again, but since all of the secondary muscles are already trained the weight on BB rows is shooting up. unfortunately it wont last for long, it never does. but you've gotta love the feeling while its there of throwing on more plates every week and still throwing the weight around like its a rag doll.

What a great exercise! Has to be one of my favourites - even though Im not that good at it

Im like you Ace, I dont know my max, but I can do about 180 for reps.

205 is pretty awesome considering you only just started doing them! You will have to give me some tips as I have been doing them for a while but can seem to get past 180

LoL you know honestly i didnt know i could even do 205.. until one day after doing deadlifts I was like I wonder if I can do a barbell row with this and walk it back over to the squat rack and set it back up..  And i did it... i was like whoa!! I did it!! lol Then i started rowing it.

Yeah i think your right though guys.. Back does seem like its alot easier to build up.... I noticed though unfortunatly while working on my back so much and my quads i didnt put as much effort into my bench so i lose 2 reps...  But its okay id rather have a stronger back and legs.. also a stronger upper chest.

My last bent over Row with a barbell was 90kg for 4, but 50kg with a bent over dumbell row (I like these better). I was doing some heavy bent over rows and I couldn't stand up afterwards, it dropped me for a while and had to crawl back to the house which was about 50m away. It was burning, sort of felt good (like a serious pump).. but at the same time it hurt like crap. I got pumped out pretty quickly everytime I did bent over rows, was completely full of blood after the first set... was reduced to 1 set of 8. Shoulder presses would fill up too quickly as well.. also reduced to 1 set of 8 for these.
