Honestly, I'd have to say the online calculators are fun, but the least accurate of the various methods of testing. I pinch in a specified spot every time.. it's always 12mm.. so my body fat is the same flexed or not. While it's not the most accurate method, it's a good method of testing. And it's always in the same spot. Flexing or not doesn't change it. And it's a good way to measure progress. Those calipers are $19.95.. you can use them to gage your progress and then use the online calculator to see how off it is. In my case, I don't believe the online calculator. I think I'm closer to 16% as most methods have tested me at that.. and 3% below is a big difference. Go get tested at your gym or health club or DR's office. Then see just how accurate this is. Without having another method of testing, you won't know for you specifically. I know for me.. it's off.
