Just wondering what the issue is. I'm running on a Mac here as well, and haven't noticed any problems with DBB...

Here's what you see..

I don't have a Mac.. so I can't really comment. This forum is liquid meaning if you resize the window it should move around.

If that is Safari, the Mac's new browser.. dunno. Could be it doesn't like some bit of code in the template.

Don't mind the grid looking stuff.. that appears to be the image quality. The issue 8pack brings up is the fact the buttons are on two different levels.

Hmmm... interesting. I just assumed that's the way the layout was supposed to be (though I never noticed the gaps after the buttons).

And FYI, it looks the same in IE, which uses a different rendering engine, on the Mac as well (links appears to "render" it correctly though).

So in IE you see it the same?

Because on my IE.. it's a single line of buttons. And if I change the size of the webpage, it shrinks and grows. Doesn't look anything like the image uploaded.

Yep. Here's a screenshot of DBB side by side in IE and Safari.

Interesting..

IE on a Mac.

Obviouisly the IE version on Windows is different somehow becuase I'm on XP.. and at work.. XP.. never seen that issue.

I'll ask a web friend to look.. but now I know there's room for some extra buttons!

Thanks guys..

There are a few known bugs with IE on a mac but nothing has been planned to fix them. I dont belive microsoft has any intrest in fixing them.

Just looking at the beginning of the table there is this....

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%" height="100%">
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">

it should be

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%" height="100%">
<tr><td>
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">

I also did a search in the code for <table and it turned up 74 matches but only 73 </table so it could be the first table def at the top. Most of the browers will treat an undefined table fine but others will have problems and i assume that this is the problem with the mac.

I was thinking it might have been a resolution problem too, but I tried a smaller resolution and still couldn't recreate the problem. I have Mozilla and don't see anything wrong with the page. Must be the table tags, like mis said.

slayerboy, it look like to me that your runnig an older version of OS. I got
Mac OS X Version 10.2.7, and ya I got IE on my powerbook too, but i like safari a lot better.

I tried different resolutions, and I made the safari window full size, the problem was still there.

Actually...I am on a PC running WinXP. I seriously think it might be thw way Apple's browsers handle html and tables. But you Mac owners swear by your Macs and won't listen to anyone on the otherside.
