Well, the article is pretty interesting to me, but this one statement makes me consider a lot:
"You want to raise insulin levels in the morning and right after a workout - so it's a good idea to take creatine at those two times to maximize absorption. "
 
If it were to be true, it means that in the morning, we should eat some simple carbs to spike insulin level as well?

Even a 1/2 cup of oatmeal will raise your insulin, you don't necessarily have to eat simple carbs.
