 MHP's Up Your Mass

MHP's Up Your Mass - Monday, June 09, 2008 2:35 AM
Hi
I'm 25yrs, 110lbs and 5.5 height. Very skinny and need to gain weight. I'm very new to the supplement world, so had a few questions.

I just bought MHP's Up Your Mass. I'm having only 2.5 scoops in the day, cause i just started. 1/2 scoop half an hour before gym, 1 scoop after gym (I go to the gym early morning) and then one later in the evening 2 hours after my lunch. All in water.

I had a few questions:

1. Am I taking the right dosage and at the right time? Could you please suggest how should i be taking it.

2. Is it beneficial to take before going to sleep? Won't it bloat me up?

3. Can I have it close to/with my meals also? Cause I read somewhere that supplements should be taken between meals so you get time to digest them.

4. The main concern that I've been facing is that since I'm having it, I've started peeing a hell lot. I never used to drink a lot of water in the whole day before (which is bad, i know) and hence never even used to pee that much; and now I've just started taking only a little more of water, but not so much so as to pee every hour or so. Is the supplement effecting anything?? Is it a bad side effect?

5. It's been one week since I'm having it, but I've seen no progress. What am I doing wrong?

Any help or suggestions... Please!!!
 
Sorry to bother with so many questions.. But I'm desperate for info.

1. You are small, so take cytogainer.
2. Yes, it is very beneficial to take before bedtime.
3. Yes, you can have it close to your meals, although you should be already eating 5-6 times a day.
4. When you drink more fluids, you are going to piss more, it happens. Do not be alarmed.
5. Supplements are not going to do jack if you really want to gain weight. Food, Food, and more food. Supplements only aid, not gain. You need to up your calories each day if you want to gain weight.

I didn't used to eat a lot earlier but now i've started hogging. 
 
1. I've already bought Up Your Mass cause Cyto Gainer was not available at that time. I'll take Cyto Gainer when this is finished. Also where i live, its very hot in summers, would it be ok to take Cyto Gainer cause it has Creatine? And that also 3gms in one serving, wont it  while according to my body i should take only 1.3gms in a day?
 
2. I also have ON's 100% Whey with me (not having right now). Would you recommend having the Whey after workouts instead of gainer?
 
Can you please tell me what dosage and when all should i be taking each of them??

Take the gainer first thing in the morning then right before you go to sleep. They regular whey, I would take right after my workout. 10-15 min after. I take 7 grams of creatine a day and I live in the Southwest and it is hot as hell here so, you should be fine.

Cytogainer is great PostWO if you are having trouble getting in a meal after your workout. Losts of protein and carbs, which is what you need postWO.

Ok guys, i really appreciate all the info, but now i've gotten confused.
Maverick is telling me to have Whey after workout, and RedJeep says gainer is more imp after workout. BTW RedJeep i have MHP Up Your Mass.
 
Could you pls tell me when to have what and how many scoops according to this schedule of mine :
 
Get up at 7 , Gym at 8
 
After workout supplement at 9:15
 
Breakfast at 10
 
Nothing here in b/w
 
Lunch at 3
 
Not much in evening, just some small snacks
 
Dinner at 10-11
 
Sleep at 11:30-12
 
Pls!!!!

As soon as you wake up, take whey. Preferably 23 grams. After your workout, 15-20 min. after take another 23 grams. Eat at 10, at 12, take your gainer. Eat at 3. 6 or 7, take your gainer. ALso, try to fit in some type of shake/protein before you sleep.

It could but you can get carbs from lots of other foods that aren't nearly as expensive. Like low fat yogurt, eggs, milk, whole weat bread, etc. You could use gainer but it would be cheaper to just eat.

I eat two bananas before going to the gym or sometimes boiled potatos with yogurt. But when i throw in one scoop of gainer with this i can feel the difference in energy level in the gym.

No problem. Yeah, if you don't want to take another product, just use your gainer. Do not take more than 1 scoop/30 grams in one sitting. If you take more than 32 grams, you will be wasting the product as the body can only digest 32 grams of protein in one sitting.
