I injured my back 3 weeks ago. it was doin' deadlifts for the second week after starting them, i knew my form wasnt perfect yet and i was right. Too much weight and poor form has given me some lower back complications that i am too nervous to get checked out...hate this crap

I cant say this enough......stretch your hamstrings. Stretching you hams will help your upper and lower back. A few times a day will help. Stand with you feet shoulder length apart and with a slight bend in your knees, try to touch your feet. While you are doing so, bury your chin to your chest. This will target your upper back.

As well as stretching, lighten up the weight. Don't keep doing heavy deadlifts if your having back problems or it's gonna get worse. I'm suffering from the same thing. Also, I recommend getting a massage once in a while. It helps keep you loose.
