Greetings, I was wondering your take on working on your lovehandles, I know it all starts with a clean diet and cardio but when doing direct excercises to work them like side bends.. should it be done with weight or no weight, in what rep and set range?

Just worry about lowering your bodyfat and the love handles will go away. No need for silly exercises like side bends.

yep. sidebends.. and then you can grab a 45 lb weight and stand with it in one hand and bend at the side with the weight, and then straighten up. as for the rep range.. just do a LOT of them haha and as bri mentioned.. it's all about lowering body fat. lots of cardio, mixed with a proper diet, and ab exercises. you'll b good to go

I'm trying to work on the lovehandles myself. A few things I've learned though: high intensity interval training on a tredmill burns fat faster. If you don't know what interval training is it's basically switching from one speed to another... ex: running 9 mph for two minutes followed by walking 3 mph for two minutes and back to 9 mph etc etc switch up the kind of cardio you do often (bikes, stairmasters, tredmills, etc)

Thanks to everyone on the feedback. Like most people when bulking up I lost track of the calories I was consuming and well NROL just gives me a hell of an appettite. I must admit I left cardio aside for a while trying to get a few extra pounds. I will go back to spinning at least twice a week and some interval training on the treadmill.
