Lost Interest.... :(:S? - Saturday, March 24, 2007 12:32 PM ( #1 )
Hey guys, when i first started lifting i was very inspired and dedicated, but all of that has changed lately...i seem to be really lazy and depressed in a way, i just cant be botherd to cycle down to the gym and bust my arse no more, i used to love everything about lifting even the ride there, even my soccer is being effected, i just feel like my heart isnt in it any more i dont really watch my diet no more, i mean i dont eat crap but i dont push my self to eat as much any more (im an ectomorph with a metabolism fast as f***) i dno whats wrong with me any 1 else had a stage like this in there life, i just cba with life at the moment lol...

Im 16 btw if that helps, havent lifted sinse around september 2006, then i got injured and got back into soccer training again around december/january and sinse ive being back, nothings being the same just drained of inspiration and excitment for life tbh thanks guys

Take a week off lifting, get enough sleep every night that week and you should come back feeling better.

I go threw the same phases, but I always realize how much better and more energetic I feel when I am eating right, lifting, and doing cardio regularly and I go right back into it.

Sometimes it takes alittle while where I'm just slacking off alittle untill I get out fo any routine all together. Which sucks because it delays any gains you could have had by a lot, my gains go back and forth due to my lack of consistancy.

yeah dude i know what you mean i have been losing interest off and on since i started about a year and a half ago, i think it is mainly because i am short and have a hard time gaining weight so i get discouraged and it's rough forcing myself to eat

Yeah whenever I lose inspiration and just need a motivation boost, I flex all I have in the mirror and picture myself bigger than that which makes me want to lift usually
