I have noticed that I'm having a harder time trying to match the amount of reps with the same amount of weight as I was doing a few weeks ago.  I've been in a fat loss mode for the past two months, is this effecting my strength?  I am still able to do all of the other exercises in my routine just fine though?

See my bio in a message, "on the right track?" a little ways down this list.  By the way, down to 186.2 / 28% now.  Goal-175 / 24%

Also, I have been doing some serious walking for quite a while, and I've been getting somewhat bored with it.  I decided to start joggin (first time in forty years) and found a starting running program on another website I'm trying to follow.  I'm walking/running 3 times a week, started with 30 seconds at a time, and now progressed to 6 one-minure runs in a 3 mile walk.  Is jogging condusive to weight traiing /body building?  I have cut back on my lower routine to just a two days a week for now, due to the added stress of getting used to this new exercise.

When trying to lose fat, it's nearly impossible to only lose fat and not any lean body mass. This means that some of the weight you're losing is indeed muscle. The best thing you can do to try and prevent this is to really watch your diet and ease up a little bit on the amount of weight in your training atleast until you reach your goal body weight.

Not only that but when on a cut, you aren't not putting enough fuel in the tank to have optimal energy.

I've been pretty good at keeping my strength but I have lost some on the flat bench.

The trade-off is I'm leaner and I haven't lost that much.  I've tried to preserve as much muscle as I can.

Also, you should list your basic routine. Often times, overtraining will cause you to lose strength by not allowing the body enougn time to recover, and grow, on your off days.
