Lose fat + Powerlifting = Success?

Last year I focused mainly on just gaining mass, eating upwards to 6000 daily calories, strict on good un-processed carbs, good lean fats, fibrous carbs, and good fat. I went from around 150-200 lb in that year however I also added a bit of fat because I wasn't doing much cardio. Now Im interested in powerlifting, but I also want to lose fat. I know that its difficult to gain mass and lose fat, but for powerlifting it doesn't seem there are too many dietary drawbacks, and I do eat clean as it is around 2700 calories. I weigh 190 pounds and im 5'9". I want to get my bench press weight up, and I also want to lose fat. Im not certain if this is possible, help out if you know!
