Hey, I'm almost 18 and have been working out since i was about 13. I weigh around 160, bench around 240, and squat around 350. I have been at a hault for almost a year on my weight, and maxes. In May i pushed up 260 but havent gotten near that since. It is very degrading not to accomplish anything over that period when i have worked so hard to gain nothing. I've been researching quite a bit about the ph's and was wondering if you guys would suggest that i do maybe 2 cycles just to see if it helps any to see if i can get a little boost on my strength, mass, and confidence.
I was thinking about trying 1-AD

At 18, try another workout program and diet. You will will gain far more then by using 1-AD.

If you hit some type of plateau, then what have you done to spice things up?

At 160 doing what you do now.. that's impressive. And I'm not being sarcastic.

If you are bent on pro-hormones, I'd read up on them in our Pro-hormone forum (if you haven't already) and wait until your natural testosterone levels come back to Earth. I highly doubt a PH will make any long lasting permanent effects on your situation.

Yeah, and i cant lie. I am pretty worried about possible side effects. I just am not sure what to do. Diet wise, i eat breakfast, go to school eat school lunch, get home eat something, later on eat dinner, and sometimes before bed eat something. So i usually eat around 4-5 meals a day. I've used whey protein shakes, n-large weight gainer (maybe gained a pound or 2 off of that) and some more protein powder. One thing i have never tried is creatine but i dont know how much good this would do for me. I thought about gettin some v12 turbo.
My workout is Monday bench, incline bench, curls, military press. Tuesday is squat, clean and jerk, and calf raises. Wedsday is bench and incline again, lat pull downs, and butterflies. Thursday is squat and clean and jerk again, then leg curls. Friday is cardio jog outside.
This workout is part of the weights class curriculum.

Before trying pro-hormones, try improving your nutrition. Take a look at all the things you eat in a day and count your calories. You might just be underestimating what you think your eating every day. For example, you eat breakfast, then lunch, you could probably fit another meal in there also. At your weight you should probably be eating around 3000 cals at least.

Just my two cents, but both of these guys are absolutely right. I also believe you have an overtraining issue. At your age your ADP-ATP conversion rate is through the roof anyway, so creatine probably wouldn't fix your situation. You need to be getting 7-8 hours of sleep every night and a week between the same workout. Squats and bench twice a week are killing you, and I wouldn't be surprised if you told me you were working sore muscles. Not a good use of your effort-you might as well quit drinking water, start gobbling wheat bread, and see if you can eventually split your anus wide open with whatever comes out. Have you ever scratched a mosquito bite to the point of bleeding? It felt right, but did it really help? It eventually healed because bare nerves don't like to be scratched. Seriously, you are damaging an already damaged muscle. Fight the urge to blast it again until you have fully recovered. As far as diet, don't eat twinkies and drink soda like most of your peers; give your body the building blocks it needs spaced throughout the day. For your workout, if you go into the gym and are ever feeling like you are doing the same thing over and over you should have switched up a couple of workouts ago. If you are getting enough rest and still dragging ass, take a mental minute and get psyched! Turn your body into a 1000 horsepower Caterpillar front loader and start ripping a building down with your bare teeth. Think about grabbing Richard Simmons by his scrawny little neck and dainty little Reeboks and pull till something pops. Whatever works for you, but you need to give it your all when you are in the gym and help your body repair itself when you aren't. I think you'll do great, cause I was in the same situation at that age.
