Looking for exercises to protect the Rotator Cuff

How do you guys keep your rotator cuffs injury free? I've heard internal and external rotations are good. I do them on occasion but must confess they usually receive low priority and are often neglected. Any other good exercises?

yup these exercises above are great. watch ur form on ur bench. I have a list of 9 exercises for it somewhere. another is hold ur arm out to the side, palm face up, then turn palm to the ground and repeat. A great help is, get a hot water bottle and fill it, and do push ups on it. its an unstable surface, and requires ur shoulder stabilisers and rotator cuff to work hard. Or get a small medicine ball, put it up agaist the wall, stand back and lean against it with ur arm out straight. so ur shoulder has to stabilise the weight. then try and make the alphabet shapes with ur hand. Do i need to explain that better? I've had 2 rotator cuff injuries, believe me, prevention is the best cure lol.
After a few months: Weight: 177lbs 6 reps Deadlift: 300lbs Squat: 240lbs Bench: on hold. Rotator cuff injury

i know ur question was about rotator cuff, and half my answer was about stabilisers. Weak stabilisers lead to dmaged rotator cuffs. just in case u thought i was rambling for no reason lol
