Lipton Green Tea to Go? - Saturday, August 22, 2009 4:34 PM ( #1 )
First off, let me just say I wasn't too sure which sub-forum to post this in, but whatever.  I just picked up a package of those Lipton Green Tea to Go (it's like powdered green tea, but in a little foil package so you can use it while your out), and I was wondering if this is healthy or not.  It doesn't have any calories or sugar, but here's a list of the nutrition info just to be safe:

Ingredients:
Instant green tea, maltodextrin, citric acid (provides tartness), aspartame, natural flavors (contain soy lecithin), silicon dioxide (prevents caking).
Nutrition Facts:
80mg protective flavonoid antioxidants per serving
Serving Size: 1/2 packet (0.8g) (makes 8 fl oz prepared)
Servings per container: about 20
Amount Per Serving

Now, I am wondering, is the artificial sweetener any bad for you?  Also, is this a healthy way of drinking green tea, or should I look into alternative brands of it.  Can anyone recommend one?   Thanks.
