Sunday, August 12, 2007 ~ Day one NO Limits / ActivaTe combo

So today was my first combo day!  I had a great workout, did calves, hams and shoulders, 3-4 exercises each for moderate light 3x15.
35 mins cardio on a few machines moderate intensity, fat burn.
Took my ActivaTe and NO Limits today and am very impressed with the results.  a few days off exercise,  only 2 days back on and my arms are shaped again!  Must be the NO Limits pump people keep talking about!!!

So Aug 13th, I made it to the gym, began my routine work for the fitness contest, started strong and got tired, weak and was ill by the end, 20 mins later.  The NO Limits got me through it and because I was not well that was all the energy I had and so I had to train a client but went home immediately after and was sick all day, cold chills etc.
Next day was fine????  I did the weights that day, cardio etc - see my journal in the online journal area......fitness/figure 2007......anyway have been training daily etc took Thur off. The supplements together are working great and giving me boosts both in energy, and endurance to get through cardio or weights but mainly the latter, it really helps  you get through and not feel drained or weak after.
Its like an invisible spotter helping you and pushing you and even lightening the weight for you!!!
Today I reinjured my big left toe, had fractured it before..........well a bad landing in a routine trick and I hyperextended it but also to the side I think so it sore now and a bit swollen and I cannot bend it, this one I will have to work through but can be so painful and I am on my toe alot in my routine for landings, take off......pushups, etc.
The good thing is my back/glute is better with the massages and I used the gravity boots yesterday and hanged upsided down for a few seconds which I think decompressed the lower lumbar.  Today I was great - then then my toe, and did it right away so my last 15 mins or so of practice was a PAIN, literally.
I did my weights and left to go ice the thing.
Today though, I forgot to take my NO Limits in time, wonder if it would have helped prevent my poor landing.  I am also thinking my alignment being off could be another reason and maybe my left side came down faster so my left toe hit a split second before the right and then it over bent???  It happened so fast..............well read the rest in my journal, I also added comparison shots taken today.

I took my ActivaTe and have been daily but I did not take NO Limits today since I only did recumbant bike - toe is still sore.
I usually have issues going too long on the bike, I never or rarely do it, I am not good at it or at least my legs are not used to it so its always a chore - today I nailed 45 mins no probs!!!  I know my cardio is pretty good and I did get a good sweat because I don't do it often but I did not suffer the usual quad burns so that was a relief!!
Also, I plop my bike in front of my LCD HDTV and time flies!!  It was early so nothing much was on so I just put it on Lethal Weapon and next thing I knew, my time was up!!
I also notices much less DOMS than I am used to which must also be the ActivaTe.  I know glutamine helps me with that and I take it daily but I still notate a difference with the ActivaTe where as with Glutamine alone I did still get some DOMS.

Did my workout at home, and of course decided when to do it, when I began.........so no prep time for the NO Limits but got my ActivaTe in!
Tomorrow I know my  training time so I will be able to take it!  I only have maybe a week left if that anyway.
My biking was not so hard again today, I swear its the ActivaTe!!!  I usually hate it and its grueling, instead today I was able to accelerate my speed slowly over the 45 mins - totally not normal for me on this cardio considering I have barely biked all year!
So far so good Designer!!

Well for the most part have been taking these each training session and some non training days I also took ActivaTe, but only taking NO Limits on training days.
I have found NO Limits useful for both cardio and weights, heavy and light weight days, fat burn or high intensity cardio days and for my anaerobic routine type work.  Combined with ActivaTe I like it better, they seem to work well together and compliment each other more so then when on them alone.  I find the NO Limits with ActivaTe seems to linger stronger in my system then when I took it alone.  It did linger all day, I noticed that but its even stronger and more stable in combo.  I also feel this combo with my arnica gel and the proper icing soon after injury combined with hot cold therapy really expediated my healing and my diet has not been high in cals nor has it been high in protein for the past week.  Some days were moderate and others were pathetic so I found these supps helped regulate my system when not taking in ideal nutrition.

Okay so yesterday I ran on my new treadmill, but I had done this kinda last minute with no time to prep with NO Limits so man was that the hardest 30 mins I had to run!
What a diff with the combo of both.
I know this is a 'pump' supplement but for some reason it helps me stay strong and full of energy through my workout and I don't feel weak points in either weights or cardio.
Maybe being a mainly vegetarian diet?

Been good with my Designer stuff, remembering to take it etc.  It really gets me through these long workouts which are moderately tough, could be tiring but I am getting through with energy to spare.
Today I trained at home and compared to the last day I ran on the tread, today was much better thanks to the NO Limits, I did my weights pre cardio but am on my last 3 days weights, light, first 3 were heavy, on 6 day split with super and tri sets.  Have trained the past 6 days, 4 with weights, all 6 with cardio, have 2 more weight days so I will keep on.  There were 2 days I just did cardio so that is why it ended up an 8 day workout week but who cares, I need to get tight!
Okay guys, Designer guys............attention............I need something for leaning between now and November - need me to test anything along those lines??????  teehee, I am asking alot aren't I????  Aren't I a stinker???

am finished with NO Limits, today was the last dose so now I am half way through ActivaTe. Will take some getting used to without the NO Limits but I did a day or 2 this past week without and it went okay, seems my cardio has picked up and become easier anyway and weights are feeling the loss but will level out soon I am sure and I still have the ActivaTe.
as per my journal in the sections below this beta area, I have been avging an hour cardio per day 30-45 mins weights, and much more routine practice.  Have done some suits fittings and have days were you can really see the leaning coming along.  Diet is squeezed a bit tighter as of today.

So I have been taking the ActivaTe religiously and am nearing the end.  I have suffered through some reinjury, limit in training etc etc, which you can read in my journal but all in all I honestly feel the supplement did help me get through it and speed things up because I have done this before, injury and all without the added boost of anything other than my usually creatine, glutamine and whey and I definatley noted a difference with the addition of this supplement.  I also found NO was great for heavy lifting but also for light /endurance.......which suprised me but that my effect and when on both, I felt amazing!!
