I am 13 and am naturally a skinny guy i am 5'5 and 96lbs so I think you can imagine also the fact that both my parents are very skinny well i dont like being skinny so thats why I am here. I found a couple weights and a curling bar with a dumbbell in my garage and unfortunately this leaves many muscle categories unscathed what do you reccomend to cover more of the muscle categories other than just curls

hey man, i can understand that, i thought i had limited options too, but my school has its weight training area open after school for 2 hours... does your school have a weight lifting area? i know its middle school so probably not,,, if you can not get a gym membership (they are expensive) you might just want to wait for high school, im thinking 13 might be a little too early to start, but im sure lifting and curling cant be too bad for you. and you could still do limited stuff, IE squats with dumbells stacked up ... but whats the point of getting into something if you cant get better?

Ah yes, never forget the potential for serious injury when performing pushups in a non certified zone... Unblessed, if you're serious about getting bigger, go and post something about how you eat in the nutrition forum. That's where you'll be getting most of your results from- Without enough of the proper foods, your body has nothing to build new muscle with. When it comes to equipment, if you can get your hands on a set of free weights with a barbell for home, and then find somewhere that has a bench and squat rack for you to use, you'd be set- It's very easy to work your arms, shoulders, back abs and forearms with nothing other than a barbell and some weights. The only days I need to use a bench and squat rack are leg and chest days. I'll post more about the exercises later.

Unblessed. I know you are only 13, but is there a YMCA in your area? They would have a gym and an inexpensive program for youth. You might check it out. There is usually someone to help you learn how to use the equipment and talk to you about a weight training program.
