Lifting Regimin - Wednesday, September 30, 2009 1:29 PM ( #1 )
I currently lift on Monday (Legs / Abs), Wednesday (Chest, Delts, Triceps) & Friday (Back, Biceps, Traps, Forearms).  It is about a 1 1/2 hour to 2 hour routine.  (Monday is probably less than that)  Is this typical?  I usually do 5 exercises (3-4 sets each), for each body part on that particular day.

Please let me know if this is a good program or not.

Thank you!

Ryan

Heh maybe i did the math wrong but thats 60 sets on friday (if 3 sets each) and a little less on the others. That is way too much volume.

Heh right now my lowerbody day is only squats 3x3, deads 3x3 and various abwork and i've been doing great actually although it definently is considered lower volume than average.

Agree w/PK and that's exactly what I used to do:  way too much volume.  I made some progress but didn't have a clue about diet and sleep.  Are you happy with your progress?  Have you packed on beef on that program?  Good workin' out!  :)
